I have two slides with the date/time on the bottom. On both slides the text is white over an image background. I copied the text region from one slide to the other when I made the slides. The problem is that sometimes (appears to be random) the text shows up on the screen as black - sometimes only on one slide, sometimes on both slides. This problem only happens with the date/time region as far as I can tell.
It may or may not be related, but one time I tried to add a black shadow to the white text and on one slide the text turned an off-pink with a green-ish shadow, while the other was what is should have been.
Note that in all my cases, it looks fine in the designer, but has a problem on the screen. I am using the latest designer and server posted a few days ago.

Re: Text color not staying set
I just updated my server to 2.0.754. I see that it did a firmware update on the players.
I have three slide, each with a clock. After the updates my slides are as follows:
slide 1: white text with white shadow
slide 2: clear text with white shadow
slide 3: white text with black shadow
All slides are configured to have white text with black shadow. All three slides also have a temp in the lower left corner with white text and black shadow, whic works fine.
A little more info:
All slides have the same PNG background, temp from DB in lower left corner, time in lower right cornder
slide 1: PNG logo
slide 2: weather from database
slide 3: static text with UNC image (webcam shot updated ever 2 min)

Re: Text color not staying set
Hello Tom,
While our recent version of Server fixed this clock issue, the corrupted clock color is still stored in your project. In order to fix this, we'll need to do the following:
1: Make sure Noventri Server is running
2: In Noventri Suite, connect to Noventri Server by clicking the "MANAGE" tab
2: Back in the "DESIGN" tab, go to Server >> Projects on Server
3: Delete the project in question with the malfunctioning clock colors from the Server
4: Close Noventri Server, and Restart Noventri Server
You'll need to upload your project again, and reschedule it to a player.
Let me know if that fixes the issue, or if you still are experiencing clocks of different colors.

Re: Text color not staying set
I did what you said and it appears to be working now. I will keep an eye on it.
