Digital Signage Forum - Noventri

I have been asked if it would be possible to develop some type of API that would interface with Noventri that would enable a "non-savy" person to quickly and simply create/edit a project, sequence, and schedule to display emergency messages without being familiar or even having the Noventri client, for example after hours. Not sure if Noventri would either recognize or accept any outside APIs (scripting languages or Java for example).
