Trouble with Noventri Service Manager

I am trying to run Noventri Server and I get the following error:
"Failed to connect to the Noventri Service Manager. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

Is there documentation to help me here? Please advise. Thank you.

Are trying to log into Noventri Server installed on a different Machine than the Server manager or are you logging in locally?

Just in case you are trying to log into a Noventri Server from a different machine, which is usually when we see this message, log into the Server Manager locally on the same machine as the Noventri Server you are trying to access. Then go to the Advanced tab and check the "Remote Administration" check box. Click apply and you will have remote administration access. Depending on your operating system you may need to restart the machine.

I checked on the Server Manager manual, which is a separate small manual and you are right, it's not posted in the Manuals location.

One more thought. If you're not entering a password, all Noventri products have a default password "noventri"

I did a complete uninstall, reboot, and reinstall, and then was able to use the default password to log in.

Thank you for the manual. I will read that over.
