Please ad RSS feeds and html page display

Thanks for the great suggestions! Glad to hear we're on the right track. Both the display of web pages, as well as parsing of the text on web pages, and display of XML feeds are scheduled for the next major release in Q1 2011. You may even see partial functionality in an interim release. If there is anything specific you are trying to do, please let us know so that we can test your scenario.\

Any update on this? RSS and HTML are definitely necessary features for signage today.

Thanks for the post and for your patience while waiting on me to reply to you.

It's been a very busy last few months and as you can see, there have been a few updates to our software since December when I posted that last message.

Some priorities have changes to take care of some needs for some particular projects but the RSS and HTML features are still one of the top requested features and are still on our road map.

We will have v2.2 of the Noventri Suite and Server software coming very soon. It's unlikely RSS and HTML are going to be included in v2.2 but our engineers may surprise us. If not, the plan is to include that feature set into v2.4.

Keep checking in to see if there has been any updates with the software and remember, we're listening to any and all suggestions and implementing them as quickly as possible.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the continuing updates. Do you have any updates on when the new version with RSS and HTML/XML inclusion will be released? We'd are interested in purchasing more units, but until these features are a reality we cannot make the investment.

FYI - We're also very interested in the Emergency Panel becoming operational as well.

Thanks for the work you're doing.

Any updates on HTML incorporation? That would be a very VERY nice feature. We would like to show our homepage.

I hope all is well at the Library! As mentioned above, we will be releasing the RSS feed and HTML features in v2.4. v2.2 is slated to be released early Q1 and will contain some major performance improvements, the addition of Undo/Redo, and a overhaul to the Server software so that it can support multiple servers simultaneously, and also have them run as a service. We will be releasing a full list of enhancements and feature additions on the download page as soon as it's released.
