Re: AutoSync Images

Hello Mark,

Auto-sync images are only used with VGA (analog) connected SF-100e players, while monitors connected via HDMI/DVI (digital) generally do not require auto adjustment. Most monitors will auto-adjust to the borders of the imbedded auto-sync image displayed at boot-up. If the monitor needs to be auto-adjusted and the image displayed does not have a defined border (images that are dark around the edges), you will need to use the auto-sync image or the monitor may not scale the image to fit the screen correctly. These templates can be loaded into an image region of a project and published to auto-adjust the monitor with the borders of the image.

To change the resolution of the player, you will need to select the player in the MANAGE tab and choose the resolution from the dropdown menu in the right side panel. Next, click the Apply button and wait for the player to go through a firmware update. The player will then reboot and change into the selected resolution. This process usually take between 3-5 minutes.

At this point, if the image does not properly adjust to the screens edge, you will have to choose the appropriate resolution auto-sync image to publish and press the auto adjust button on your monitor.

If you have any addition question, please let me know.

Kind Regards,
Sergey
