The focus I have is the ability to control what is shown at multiple locations. Specifically let it run a standard presentation loop, then schedule another presentation to show during special events and the like. At the moment, I run powerpoint presentations. Some slide are just informational, but others are video testimonials that run in full screen. The videos access the default player, which is set to Media Player Classic Home Cinema x64. Again this would just loop. I could get around this if I could even run a flash presentation as well.

The big thing I am looking to do it be able to manage multiple screens and different locations from a single location. Added bonus would be if the system just play a set of files in order instead of setting a specific length of time to play each file or page.

Hello Kosvarnin,

We have a solution for you. Give me a call and I'll discuss it with you to see if it would be a better fit for your particular application, which is to play content on a schedule, and centrally manage your content. The solution that i have in mind will also support your video testimonials.

Sincerely,

Andrew Hoffman

Andrew - can you explain how you would support the video component for others who might be thinking of the same thing. We are on version 2.0 currently.

Hello bjazmoore,

The Eco-Series solution doesn't support video. We have a Live Video Module that you may use for live video sources to appear in a window on your digital signage, It's fully scalable and you can also control it remotely via the RS-232 port (feature coming soon) on the SF-100e player.

With live video, you have to very careful as to what you're displaying.

As far as playing back video files and streaming video, you would need a different digital signage solution. Our SF-3000 solution may be of interest.

Using video in digital signage in most cases isn't recommended.

I hope this helped!
